There is an unfortunate tendency of employers setting unfair expectations on workers who grapple with disabilities.

Oftentimes, an employee may have a disability that is not immediately noticeable, causing the employer to think that the worker is merely being unreasonable with their disability-related requests. Even when employers are aware of an employee’s disabilities, they often ignore their requests for the sake of saving money.

Many of the groups below have experience advocating for individuals with both physical and mental disabilities. We hope that you will connect with these organizations and learn from the challenges and successes they have faced in the fight for disability rights in Colorado.
